The wine cellar at Gaustablikk has been developed with the ambition of offering a broad and thoughtfully curated wine selection for the restaurant's guests.
The collection spans renowned wine regions while also embracing emerging regions and producers shaping today's wine world. It includes both mature and more recent vintages.

Stored under optimal conditions
All wines are stored under carefully controlled conditions in temperature-controlled wine cabinets and dedicated storage rooms. This ensures a stable environment and provides optimal conditions for ageing and long-term cellaring.
The collection has been developed with the ambition of representing a broad range of wine regions from around the world. It includes both renowned wine regions such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany and Napa Valley, as well as producers and emerging regions that are shaping today's wine landscape. The wine list features both mature vintages and a wide selection of wines across different price points, carefully curated to complement the restaurant's menu and accommodate a variety of guest preferences.

Built over time
When the development of the wine cellar began in 2022, the collection consisted of around 100 wines. Since then, it has grown through long-term dedication, close collaboration with importers, and the continuous expansion of the collection.
The collection continues to evolve through specialist expertise, international trends, and visits to producers across a range of wine regions. The ambition is to build a collection that combines established wine regions with emerging producers and regions shaping today's wine world. At the same time, the collection is continuously refined by strengthening the representation of selected regions and expanding the depth of selected producers and vintages.

Did you know that Gaustablikk's wine list has been reviewed by Star Wine List?
The restaurant's wine list was reviewed by Star Wine List and was awarded a Silver Star in the Best Italian Wine List category at the Star Wine List of the Year Norway 2025 awards.
In addition, Gaustablikk has been awarded White Star by Star Wine List. The White Star distinction is awarded to restaurants whose wine lists have been reviewed and approved by Star Wine List's panel of experts.
A selection of non-alcoholic beverages
At Gaustablikk, we devote the same level of care and attention to our non-alcoholic selection as we do to the rest of our beverage menu.
We offer non-alcoholic sparkling wine and alcohol-free cider from local producers in Telemark. The region is known as Norway's fruit-growing heartland, with a long tradition of cultivating fruit and producing cider and juice. This provides an excellent foundation for flavourful, locally produced alternatives to accompany your meal.
Our bartenders also create non-alcoholic cocktails and other carefully crafted beverage pairings, tailored to complement the restaurant's menu and our guests' preferences.
