Gaustablikk Fjellresort – in the heart of Telemark
Gaustablikk is located in Tinn municipality, in the heart of Telemark.
The destination is easily accessible from several parts of Southern Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. From Oslo, the drive takes approximately 2.5 hours along scenic roads through the Norwegian landscape. From Bergen, the journey takes around 4.5 hours, and from Gothenburg approximately 5.5 hours.
Wherever you travel from, you will be welcomed by views of Gaustatoppen and the distinct sense of calm that defines the area upon arrival.

How to get to Gaustablikk Fjellresort
Parking
Gaustablikk Fjellresort offers spacious parking directly adjacent to the hotel, with easy access to both rooms and facilities.
Parking is complimentary for hotel guests; however, all vehicles must be registered at the reception upon arrival. Failure to register will result in charges. The registration is valid for 72 hours and must be renewed for longer stays.
All parking areas operate with an automatic camera system by APCOA, where your license plate is recorded upon entry and exit. For questions regarding payments or refunds, please contact APCOA directly via apcoa.no.
Electric vehicle charging
There are 12 EV charging stations available in the hotel parking area, as well as an additional 16 chargers in the nearby ski center parking area.
To use the chargers, please bring your own Type 2 charging cable. Payment is made via the Chargenode app.

At Gausta, a dedicated shuttle service makes it easy to get around – especially during peak seasons.
Gausta Shuttle includes three services:
- Gausta Express – connects different areas within the destination
- Fjellbussen (Mountain Bus) – runs between Rjukan and Gausta, linking the destination with the local community
- Gausta Restaurant Shuttle – takes you to and from restaurants (pre-booking required)
All services are complimentary, but operate only during selected periods.
